Our Client, Bolton Council is looking for a Childrens Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team. Candidates must have experience of managing Social Workers and demonstrate understanding and evidence of working in childrens Safeguarding Service.
Responsibilities include:
- Progressing permanence plans for children, including children subject to child protections plans, children in need, care proceedings and adoption.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of child care law and practice.
- Evidence based practice in children’s social care.
- Knowledge and evidence of management.
The role is to manage one of the six safeguarding teams of six social workers. This is a full-time role of 37 hours per week.
