Executive Assistant (Temporary Bank) | 8841 | Temporary Contract for 6 months ending no later than 31 st March 2026 | 30 hours per week across 4 days (non-working day is Wednesday) | £25,570 per annum | (Grade G) | Hybrid/County Hall, Norwich
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail to provide Executive Assistance and administrative support to our Senior Leaders (our senior leader roles include Executive Directors, Lead and Departmental Directors).
You will demonstrate confidence and excel at multi-tasking, enjoy engaging with people, and possess the ability and skills to forward plan busy work schedules and deliver outstanding customer service in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Provide executive assistance / PA / administrative support at Director/Senior Leadership level. Demonstrable previous experience in this area is essential.
- Diary Management: Proactively manage your own time, and the Director’s schedule, including planning local and national travel and meeting arrangements, email management and correspondence. Prepare and research information to brief the Senior Leader effectively.
- Stakeholder Management and Customer Service: Build robust and trusted working relationships with external and internal stakeholders, national agencies and government bodies.
- Confidentiality and Sensitivity: Handle highly sensitive and complex information with the utmost confidentiality. You will be expected to handle delicate situations and often difficult information discreetly and professionally.
- Information Management: Deal with sensitive and complex information, ensuring confidentiality is always maintained. Demonstrate personal resilience and the ability to follow up on actions to meet deadlines in an often fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Service Improvement: Collaborate with colleagues in the Executive Support Service to continuously improve the service and support the Council’s broader Business Support and Administration operating model.
- Software and Technology Skills: Experience of using MS365 Office Systems, including SharePoint, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.
