ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Support workers to work with a leading housing association in the Macclesfield area supporting clients experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. This is a part time temporary role that could become a part time permanent role for the right person.
Part-time: 19 hours per week
Rota-based
Caseload: 4-5 clients, approx. 5 hours support each per week
Support includes:
- appointments
- welfare checks
- tenancy-related support

Preferred Requirements
- Experience in delivering support to people with complex needs, including negotiating and advocating on their behalf
- Ability to motivate service users to engage in support and personal development activities, while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Skilled in working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to build effective partnerships with a wide range of agencies
- Proficient in accurately recording work, day-to-day interventions, and residents' progress
- Knowledgeable about the needs of people with complex needs, welfare benefits, and relevant support agencies
- A basic understanding of safeguarding and measures to report concerns
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
Candidates should have a current, Enhanced Adult DBS certificate. An immediate start can be offered subject to employment and DBS checks.
