We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Team Leader to join our supported accommodation service in Congleton and Macclesfield. This role is ideal for someone with experience in housing support, homelessness services, or supported accommodation who is ready to lead a team and help transform the lives of vulnerable individuals.
As Team Leader, you will supervise and coordinate front-line staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred support is delivered to people with a range of support needs. You will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence, choice, and positive outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a dedicated team and help individuals move towards greater stability and independence. This is a full-time temporary role that can become a full-time permanent role for the right person.
The Role
- Lead and supervise a team of front-line support staff delivering supported accommodation services
- Ensure individuals receive person-centred, trauma-informed support
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting
- Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with Supported Accommodation Standards and relevant regulations
- Maintain high standards across the accommodation, including health & safety and property standards
- Work with partners, commissioners, and local services to ensure effective support pathways and move-on opportunities
- Support staff development through supervision, coaching, and training
- Monitor service performance, audits, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support service users to access opportunities that promote independence, wellbeing, and community integration
About You
- Experience working in supported accommodation, housing support, homelessness, or similar services
- Experience supervising or leading staff teams
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and working with vulnerable adults
- Experience with support planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency working
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, resilient, and supportive in challenging situations
- Experience using case management or support recording systems
Desirable:
- Housing qualification such as CIH Level 3 (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience working with people with complex needs, dependencies, or challenging behaviours
- Experience using Pyramid
