ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.
We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Housing Support staff to work with a leading housing association in the Stoke On Trent area supporting clients experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse. This is a temporary role, offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.92, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in delivering support to people with substance misuse, including negotiating and advocating on their behalf
- Ability to motivate service users to engage in support and personal development activities, while maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Skilled in working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to build effective partnerships with a wide range of agencies
- Proficient in accurately recording work, day-to-day interventions, and residents' progress
- Knowledgeable about the needs of people with complex needs, welfare benefits, and relevant support agencies
- An understanding of safeguarding and measures to report concerns
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
