ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to work with a leading housing association in the Bolton area ensuring properties are kept to a manageable state. This is a full time temporary role with no set end date on behalf of Spirit Homes working: 8am to 5pm typically 40 Hours Weekly at a set rate of £16.15 per hour.
About the Role
You will deliver reactive maintenance and void property works across social housing properties. Working across a regional patch, you'll complete a range of repairs to a high standard, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for residents. This is a mobile role requiring travel, independent working, and effective communication with tenants and internal teams.
About You
We are looking for an experienced multi-trade operative with a strong all-round skillset and a customer-focused approach. You will have:
- Proven experience in multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, tiling, decorating, plastering, and basic electrical work
- Experience working within social housing or tenanted properties
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong communication skills
