An exciting and rewarding opportunity to be a key member of the team, providing support and housing related guidance to young people within a semi-supported accommodation service in Buxton.

Purpose of the role
- This is a key post contributing to the associations aims and objectives in delivering quality accommodation and support to young people under Ofsted regulation, ensuring young peoples rights are upheld and advocated for.
- The job holder will have acquired knowledge through on the job experience. Most work undertaken will be tailored to the needs of each young person presenting to our service albeit it will be of a routine nature requiring the job holder to follow delegated established practices, procedures and policies.
- Where incidents arise then job-holder will be the first point of contact and will be required act responsibly to precedents, and in compliance with appropriate housing regulations. There will be requirement for lone-working on-site/off-site with young people.
- The job holder will require a degree of adaptable engagement methods when supporting our young people with their emotional, practical and other support needs and will need to use translation services to ensure young people understand their rights and receive appropriate support.
- The actions and decision undertaken by the job holder will be determined predominantly by established and routine practices and processes albeit tailored to the needs of the Young Person.
- You will be expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Associations values, culture and ethos.
