We're seeking a talented Software Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll guide potential new clients through the sales process, ensuring a successful experience and a positive start to their journey with us. You'll also collaborate closely with Business Development, Sales Development, and Marketing to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while building strong relationships with financial institutions in new regions. Additionally, you'll work cross-functionally with various departments to enhance collaboration and drive overall success. As we expand into global markets, this position will play a key role in helping customers automate and upgrade their financial crime management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide prospects through the sales cycle by managing lead qualification, discovery, presentations, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
- Identify and address pain points within financial institutions, showcasing how Verafin’s solutions deliver value.
- Engage and align with multiple stakeholders to ensure actions match the prospect’s buying process and decision-making structure.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records by logging activities, capturing key details, and forecasting opportunities effectively.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver tailored product demos and ensure a seamless sales process, while staying informed on industry trends and Verafin’s competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bring several years of proven sales experience, preferably within the anti-financial crime software industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Collaborate on sales strategies and execute plans effectively, driving measurable business growth.
- Demonstrate expertise in market research and segmentation, identifying new opportunities for expansion.
- Build strong relationships across organizational levels, including C-suite executives, decision makers, and end-users.
- Leverage industry knowledge and tools, such as banking compliance insights and Salesforce proficiency, to optimize the sales process.
This position will be located in London, UK and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
