About Us: Key Takeaway Ltd is an innovative software development company building AI powered systems. We have a B2C application maiself.io currently in open beta, and a B2B solution adtecher.com in closed beta. Our aim is to raise funding by the end of 2026.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with strong full stack development experience, ideally with a background in building applications within SaaS. As CTO, you will lead our technical strategy, manage our in-house development team, and work closely with external partners to finalise the development of our MVP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and technical strategy.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
- Oversee the integration of APIs and develop custom solutions.
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g., AWS, Shopify, UK Academic institutions) and key stakeholders to align on technical requirements and deliverables.
- Implement and manage project management tools, including Jira, Slack, and GitHub, to track progress and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a scalable backend infrastructure that is CSP agnostic.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer who can utilise the latest agentic systems.
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, AWS).
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in marketing or eCommerce use cases.
- Experience in managing development teams and working in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, particularly AWS services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
