Are you a creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator with strong photography, videography and editing skills?

Join one of the UK’s leading creative construction companies and capture the story behind exciting projects for television, film, theatre and live events.

About Scena

With more than 40 years in the industry, Scena Pro Ltd develops and builds sets for theatre, television, film, museums, conferences, exhibitions and live events worldwide.

Based at our Croydon workshop, our teams bring ambitious creative concepts to life. No two weeks are the same, giving you varied, visual content that audiences will want to see.

The Role

As our Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you will plan, produce and publish engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and scenapro. You will also help develop longer-form YouTube content as our project film library grows.

This hands-on role involves filming and photography in our workshop and at installation sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Filming and photographing projects in the workshop and on location
  • Editing reels, time-lapses, process videos and project reveals
  • Planning a content calendar around live production schedules
  • Writing captions and project copy in Scena’s established voice
  • Managing and publishing content across all social channels
  • Monitoring engagement and responding to comments and messages
  • Reporting monthly on content performance
  • Producing project case studies and summaries
  • Keeping the website, project pages and portfolio current
  • Maintaining an organised media library
  • Supplying content for award submissions, tenders and proposals
  • Travelling to installations to capture projects first-hand

You will work closely with production and workshop teams, clients, marketing agencies and event organisers.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience managing business social media accounts
  • Confidence using a camera for photography and video
  • Strong editing skills, particularly for short-form content
  • A sharp eye for composition and visual storytelling
  • Strong written English and the ability to follow an established brand voice
  • Experience managing an effective content calendar
  • The organisation to work around changing production schedules
  • Confidence working independently on site and in a busy workshop
  • Flexibility to travel and occasionally work evenings or weekends
  • The ability to commute to our Croydon workshop

Experience in events, exhibitions, construction, design or theatre would be beneficial. Drone qualifications, After Effects, motion graphics, graphic design skills and a full UK driving licence would also be useful but are not essential.

What We Offer

  • Hourly pay of £16-£19+, depending on experience
  • Five contracted days per month with flexible scheduling
  • Additional days as projects require
  • Varied and visually exciting creative work
  • Potential international travel
  • A supportive and friendly working environment
  • The opportunity to grow and make your mark in the industry

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Scena Pro Ltd is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
