About the Role
We are seeking a committed and inspiring Maths & Science Teacher to join our Middle School (Years 7-9, including GCSE preparation). You will deliver engaging lessons across Maths and Science, including both weekly teaching and immersive block lessons, tailored to a range of abilities. This role offers the opportunity to teach within a creative and values-led educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons
- Prepare and conduct practical experiments safely
- Monitor pupil progress and produce reports
- Maintain and organise subject materials and resources
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Contribute to school events, trips and assemblies
- Support safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion
- Work with SENDCo to support pupils with additional needs
- Participate in meetings, training and professional development
About You
Essential:
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Teaching experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Desirable:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Waldorf/Steiner training or experience
- Experience teaching large classes
- Interest in Steiner education and Anthroposophy
