We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Part-Time Dance and Performing Arts Teacher (50–70%) to join our Performing Arts Team from September 2026. This role is based primarily in the Junior School, with additional extra-curricular responsibilities across Senior School and Sixth Form. You will teach and coach a range of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro. You will choreograph Junior School productions, support performances and events, and contribute to a dynamic and engaging Performing Arts programme across the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, delivery, and development of the dance curriculum in the Junior School and Nursery
- Teach a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz, and Acro
- Choreograph and support Junior School productions and performances
- Contribute to curriculum development across Performing Arts
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and performance opportunities
- Support rehearsals, showcases, workshops, and school productions
- Develop extra-curricular clubs, workshops, and enrichment opportunities
- Support student assessment, progression, and feedback
- Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts team
- Maintain safe practice in line with safeguarding and school policies
- Act as an ambassador for Performing Arts across the school
Person Specification
- Experience in dance training, coaching, and choreography
- Strong dance background with a relevant qualification (e.g. ISTD, RAD) desirable
- Knowledge of musical theatre and a broad range of dance styles
- Experience in contemporary, hip hop, street, salsa, and non-Western forms desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build positive relationships
