ADS Laser Cutting is a full-service metalwork specialist, offering laser cutting, folding, fabrication, finishing, and assembly services. We provide bespoke to volume sheet metal solutions for customers across engineering, transport, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries. Operating from an 87,000 sq. ft facility and employing over 100 people, ADS combines modern equipment with robust processes and experienced teams to deliver consistent quality, lead times, and service. This provides a stable, well-supported platform for sales activity and long-term customer development.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and commercially focused Internal Account Manager.

Role Profile:

The Internal Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the effective conversion of enquiries and quotations into confirmed orders. The role focuses on proactive follow up of quotations, management of live & dormant accounts, ownership of inbound leads, and maintaining accurate CRM data to provide clear pipeline visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Reactivate dormant accounts through structured outbound contact.
    • Identify opportunities to increase order frequency and value.
    • Escalate higher value or strategic opportunities where appropriate.
  • CRM & Sales Process Ownership
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and update records of all sales activity within HubSpot.
    • Ensure all enquiries, quotations, follow ups, and outcomes are correctly logged.
    • Support data quality initiatives, including duplicate management and record hygiene.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Act as a first point of contact for inbound sales enquiries.
    • Build professional and effective working relationships with customers.
    • Handle customer issues or objections promptly and in line with company standards.
    • Take a customer first approach when handling all enquiries.
  • Reporting & Performance Management
    • Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and account progress.
    • Participate fully in one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions.
    • Take ownership of personal performance against agreed KPIs.
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

Essential

  • Experience in a B2B office based role (sales, account management, customer service, or sales administration).
  • Understanding of the end to end sales process, including handling enquiries, following up, and converting opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships, manage enquiries, handle objections, and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, with structured planning and follow-up of sales activities.
  • Confident in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and other office software, with a focus on maintaining accurate, up to date records and data quality.

Desirable

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or sheet metal environments.
  • Experience within B2B Sales (2 years).
