This role supports the coordination and delivery of aircraft participation at the Farnborough International Airshow and other supported events, covering both static and flying exhibits. Working closely with the Flight Operations team and Flying Display Director, the role helps manage the administrative and operational activity that enables aircraft, aircrew, and exhibitors to participate safely and effectively, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and clear communication throughout the process.

The role also provides hands-on operational support in the lead-up to and during live event periods, liaising with Farnborough Airport, ground handling agents, contractors, and internal teams to support aircraft movements and on-site operations. Alongside this, the postholder coordinates travel, accommodation, catering and budget administration, and plays an active role within the Aircraft Operations Centre and Air Display Headquarters during validation and show week to support smooth day-to-day delivery.

This is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months (ASAP- 27th November 2026). The position is based at Farnborough with the requirement to travel internationally. The role directly reports to the Head of Flight Operations, with a dotted line to the Flight Operations Manager.

We are seeking a highly organised and reliable operations or administrative professional who is comfortable supporting complex activity within a busy, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in an operations, logistics, or coordination role and be confident juggling multiple tasks and priorities, particularly where timelines are tight and accuracy is essential.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a clear customer-focused mindset, able to act as a professional and responsive point of contact for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. They will be comfortable liaising with suppliers, contractors, and third-party partners, supporting logistics and coordination activity, and handling enquiries or issues in a calm, solutions-focused manner.

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and a solid administrative skillset, capable of maintaining accurate documentation, processing purchase orders and invoices, and supporting basic budget tracking. Strong IT skills are essential, with confidence using spreadsheets, databases, and document management systems to organise and share information effectively.

Above all, this role would suit a proactive, flexible individual who remains composed during busy or high-pressure periods such as live events. A willingness to support wider operational tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute positively to team delivery is key to succeeding in this role.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Location: Hybrid working - 3 days in the Farnborough office and 2 days from home (only starts after inductions).

Travel: One-off travel requirement in November, which could require the appropriate visa.
