Branch Sales Managers
What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, so it\βs essential that you can engage and inspire the branch colleagues to support the sales strategy and maintain professionalism, friendliness, and enthusiasm, ensuring they understand their roles.
- Understanding our local competition is key; this will enable you to harness opportunities and develop strong sales propositions that meet customer needs, helping us stay competitive in the local market.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure ongoing profitability.
- Liaise with suppliers to create local commercial plans aimed at generating profitable sales.
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do. Your aim will be to ensure all colleagues and customers leave the branch safely, adhering to all stay-safe policies and procedures.
- You will be a key-holder, often opening or closing the branch.
- You will support the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager in managing some aspects of the branch and business.
What experience do you need?
Previous experience within a builders merchant is advantageous but not essential. This is a key customer-facing role, so you need to provide excellent customer service by building effective relationships and working as part of a team. Sector experience isn\βt necessary; transferable skills such as sales experience, great customer service, and inspirational leadership are what matter. We can teach you the rest.
