We are hiring for a Data Engineer position in Bournemouth. This is a full-time role with 5 days working from the client office. The start date is ASAP, with a salary of 80k GBP per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience in AIML (LLM, Agentic AI) and Python, as well as knowledge in:
- AIML, Machine Learning & Data Science
- Large Language Models (GPT, Claude), Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation
- AIML Algorithms (Regression, Classification, Decision Trees, KNN, K-Means)
- Python libraries (NLTK, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Pandas)
Candidates will be expected to work on developing and implementing AIML solutions for test automation in the securities processing space. This will entail building AIML solutions for:
- Test Generation
- Test Prioritization
- Defect Triage/Reporting
- Code Coverage
- Framework Migration/Setup
The role requires proficiency in all aspects of AIML and software development, including:
- Ability to develop and implement Generative AI & Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions focused on software testing
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot
- Deployment experience with Docker & Kubernetes to deploy AIML solutions (good to have)
- Front-end experience in React to build front end for the AIML solutions (a plus)
- Experience with building, training & fine-tuning AIML models (a plus)
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience, is required. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in Data Science & AIML with a focus on quality assurance solutions, lifecycle principles, and quality assurance processes and methodologies.
Additional requirements include:
- Experience with automated testing and a good understanding of test automation frameworks
- Good grasp of SQL
- Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
