The migration is from AWS to Azure for a .NET application. The team currently uses Kafka and Datadog, and will use Express Routes between AWS and Azure.
Location: This is a UK based opportunity. The staff will need to be in London near Old Street on site 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Major part of this work is infrastructure:
- Workload lift and shift from AWS to Azure (possible VM cloning for .NET app and DB snapshot/restore on Azure)
- Network connectivity setup (ExpressRoute)
- Managing connectivity to existing observability & monitoring tools (Datadog)
- Connectivity to Kafka cluster
- Possibly small code updates (endpoints, configs, secrets, etc.)
- Platform compatibility adjustments for the .NET app
