We are seeking an AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, streamline deployments, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and AWS CloudFormation templates for reusable deployments.
- Ensure compliance with AWS best practices and security standards in IaC implementations.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration with IaC workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IaC-related issues in multi‑environment setups.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams for integrated solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce IaC standards across projects.
- Stay updated on AWS services, Terraform, CloudFormation, and IaC trends.
- Provide technical guidance and training to teams on IaC best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services, networking, and security.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of YAML/JSON scripting and modular IaC design.
