An IQGeo Tech Lead manages the geospatial (GIS) platform, acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for fiber network design, data, and technical support, leading engineering teams, ensuring data quality (QC/QA), configuring IQGeo layers/rules, interfacing with clients/developers, and resolving complex issues for efficient network operations and deployment. They bridge technical teams (fielding, backend) with project management and clients, focusing on standards, best practices (like in Katapult), and system readiness for network modernization.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Ownership: Serve as the go-to expert for the IQGeo platform, its configuration (layers, rules), data models, and integrations.
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor engineers on design, fielding, and software best practices (IQGeo, Katapult).
- Quality Assurance: Perform QA/QC on designs (poles, spans, drops), ensuring adherence to client standards and utility regulations, and maintain correction logs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the technical bridge between fielding teams, backend engineers, project managers, clients, and IQGeo developers.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex engineering, logic, and data issues, escalating as needed.
- Design & Deployment: Review and validate OSP designs, manage scope changes, and ensure efficient project delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain design documentation, QC checklists, and change logs.
