Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary
- Service Now Architect with deep expertise in
- Source-to-Pay (S2P) and
Sales & Order Management (SOM) modules.
The ideal candidate will lead the architectural design and strategic implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions on the Service Now platform, enabling streamlined procurement, supplier lifecycle, and order management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture for Service Now solutions across S2P (SLP, SPO, APO) and SOM (Product Catalog, CPQ, Order Management) modules.
- Lead technical design sessions, establish architectural standards, and ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy.
- Guide development teams in building robust workflows, integrations, and custom applications using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect integrations with ERP, CRM, and third-party systems (e. g., SAP, Ariba, Salesforce) ensuring data consistency and performance.
- Ensure adherence to Service Now best practices in architecture, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and solution reviews.
- Mentor developers and contribute to capability building within the Service Now practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Service Now platform architecture and development.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience architecting solutions in S2P and SOM modules.
- Strong command of Java Script, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and UI Actions.
- Expertise in Integration Hub, MID Servers, and external system integrations.
- Deep understanding of ITSM, CSM, Procurement, and Finance domain processes.
Certifications Required
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Performance Analytics, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or Mobile App Development.
- Exposure to Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Knowledge of enterprise procurement and sales lifecycle processes.
- Experience in leading Service Now implementations in large-scale enterprise environments.
