Are you a commercially astute Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge with a growing and well-respected contractor? We are currently working with a quality-driven construction business delivering a range of high-spec residential, refurbishment and Permitted Development projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is now looking to appoint a Surveyor to join the commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an ambitious and supportive business with genuine long-term career progression on offer.
The successful candidate will be involved in the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account and will work closely with both operational and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Preparing and managing valuations and variations
- Cost reporting and budget management
- Assisting with subcontractor accounts and final accounts
- Supporting the commercial delivery of multiple projects
- Liaising with site teams, clients and supply chain partners
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within residential construction or refurbishment projects
- Strong commercial awareness and construction knowledge
- Good communication skills
