This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established business known for delivering high-quality residential infrastructure and groundworks projects across the South East. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, the company is now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of multiple groundworks and civil engineering schemes.
The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of groundworks and civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account. Responsibilities will include:
- Commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account
- Subcontractor procurement and package management
- Managing variations, valuations and cost reporting
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring commercial performance
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members
- Working closely with site teams, project managers and commercial leadership
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and clients
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong commercial control across all developments.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management ability
