I am currently working on behalf of one of the UK’s fastest-growing leisure operators, who are continuing to expand their national footprint with multiple new venues planned across the UK. As part of this growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Head of Property & Project Delivery to oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects nationwide.
Reporting directly into senior leadership, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to take ownership of projects from initial feasibility through to completion within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. The role combines both Quantity Surveying and Project Management responsibilities and would suit an individual capable of balancing commercial control with operational project delivery across multiple fast-track developments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for delivering projects from inception through to completion
- Site feasibility and early-stage construction cost advice
- Budget estimates, cost planning, and tender management
- Procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials
- Commercial management of projects from inception to completion
- Managing project programmes, milestones, and delivery risks
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, architects, and design teams throughout project delivery
- Acting as the key client-side point of contact across multiple concurrent developments
- Reviewing valuations, variations, and subcontractor payments
- Monitoring project progress and resolving technical or commercial issues as they arise
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Candidates should possess strong commercial awareness, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to operate autonomously across multiple projects simultaneously.
