A growing multidisciplinary Consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to help build and lead a new structural engineering function. This suits someone who wants more autonomy and the chance to shape a department.
The role:
- Lead structural design for new build, refurbishment and alteration projects
- Produce calculations, drawings and reports
- Carry out inspections and advise on defects and remedial solutions
- Work closely with architects, surveyors and contractors
- Support internal teams and help develop systems and processes
About you:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE)
- MEng/MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 4+ years' post-grad design experience
- Strong technical knowledge and software proficiency
- Clear communicator with a proactive, commercial approach
