An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial professional to take the lead on large residential developments. You'll join a high performing Commercial team responsible for delivering cost effective, high quality homes. The role covers full commercial and surveying management across major sites, ensuring budgets, valuations, procurement and reporting are tightly controlled.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing all commercial and surveying responsibilities across large multi-unit sites
  • Controlling budgets, valuations, cash flow and cost reporting
  • Leading value engineering and ensuring projects stay within financial targets
  • Preparing tenders, procuring subcontractors, materials and goods
  • Managing subcontractor processes, orders, variations and payments
  • Compiling accurate cost plans, reports and site start budgets
  • Keeping up to date with regulations, materials, methods and NHBC requirements
  • Presenting commercial positions at internal meetings
  • Training and mentoring junior team members

  • Strong background as a QS or Commercial Manager on large residential sites
  • Excellent cost control and forecasting skills
