An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing, design-led luxury housebuilder delivering high-spec residential developments across Surrey, Berkshire and the surrounding Home Counties. Our client is a quality-focused business with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke homes and premium residential schemes with exceptional attention to detail, high specification finishes and thoughtfully designed living spaces.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are now looking to appoint a Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects from site set-up through to completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining the high standards of quality, presentation and health & safety expected across all developments.
This role would suit someone with previous experience working for a luxury or high-spec housebuilder and who has strong knowledge and practical experience delivering timber frame construction projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
- Managing timber frame construction packages through key build stages
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to budget
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards and attention to detail
- Managing health & safety procedures and site compliance
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers and clients where required
- Monitoring programme progress and reporting updates to senior management
- Conducting snagging and ensuring a high-quality finish throughout
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working for a luxury or high-spec residential housebuilder
- Strong timber frame construction experience
- Experience delivering bespoke or premium residential developments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification
- A proactive and hands-on management approach
