My client is seeking a Scientific Engagement Consultant/Lead to join our growing team and help deliver highly interactive scientific engagement programmes for global pharma and biotech partners.

In this role, you will work across a diverse range of therapy areas, collaborate with international experts, and play a central part in guiding scientific discussion that informs strategic decisions.
This position is ideal for candidates from Medical Affairs, MSL, Field Application Specialist, medical communications, or scientific consultancy backgrounds who enjoy scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and leading structured expert discussions.
What You’ll Do- Lead and facilitate client calls, scientific discussions and advisory meetings (virtual and in-person) with clinicians, researchers, healthcare system leaders, and patient representatives.
- Work directly with pharma clients to shape programme content, objectives, and strategic advisory event design.
- Guide global expert groups through structured scientific conversations and decision-making frameworks using specialist training and proprietary software.
- Capture insight in real time and deliver concise, structured reports that summarise debate and support client decision-making.
- Manage and coordinate project delivery with internal cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and expert stakeholders.
- Support business development activities, including proposals and exploratory discussions with clients.
- Degree (or PhD) in a biological or medical discipline.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, scientific consultancy, or medical communications.
- Direct experience engaging with expert stakeholders or working in a client-facing role.
- Confident, articulate communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, think strategically, and ask insightful scientific questions.
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, dynamic, and consultative mindset.
- 5+ years of commercial or industry experience (pharma, biotech, medical affairs, market access, clinical development, medical communications).
- Experience running or supporting advisory boards or other insight-driven scientific meetings.
- Higher degree (MSc/PhD).
- Familiarity with medical affairs environments and the broader drug development landscape.
- Flexible remote or hybrid working.
