A leading technology services organisation is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Lead to act as the senior technical authority across a complex hybrid cloud and on-premise environment.
The Role
- Lead resolution of critical infrastructure incidents and root cause analysis
- Own virtualisation, cloud, backup, and platform operations
- Manage upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimisation
- Present and govern high-risk changes through CAB processes
- Act as the senior escalation point for engineers and vendors
- Drive automation and operational improvement initiatives
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure or managed services
- Strong VMware, Azure, Windows Server, and Linux expertise
- Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Proven technical leadership and major incident management experience
- Knowledge of ITIL service management and change control
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell and/or similar)
