We are currently looking for Class 1 (C+E) drivers to work with Gist, offering ongoing opportunities across Andover, Newbury, Thatcham, Reading, and Basingstoke.
Pay Rates
- Days: From £23.20 per hour
- Nights: From £27.85 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £30.16 per hour
- Overtime after 40hrs p/wk is between £25.52 - £34.80

You’ll be delivering fresh, ambient, and frozen food goods to Marks & Spencer stores, starting each shift from a well-organised depot with clean, modern, and well-maintained vehicles. Deliveries are straightforward, using cages and tail lifts to make the job easier. A full induction and training programme is provided, ensuring you’re confident, prepared, and working safely from day one.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
