With the Christmas season closing in we are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to work out of Royal Mail in Shrewsbury to help with their Christmas demand. This in an ongoing requirement with work all year round if desired.
You’ll be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail mail centres, operating from a well‑organised depot in Shrewsbury, using clean, well‑maintained vehicles. There is some interaction involved for loading and unloading.
This is a 7 day operation and the perfect candidates would be flexible in terms of start time.
Pay Rates
- Monday to SundayDaysdepending on start time £19.51 to £20.52
- Monday to SundayNightsdepending on finish time £20.26 to £22.54
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent Class 2 driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
