Overview
Seeking skilled HGV Class 2 drivers for regular shifts delivering with DHL. Are you looking for consistent HGV Class 2 driving work at a great company? We have ongoing temporary assignments for HGV drivers delivering food to NISA stores across the South-West. We offer regular shifts and good rates of pay.
Pay Rates
- Weekday rate: £19.00 per hour
- Weekends: £22.00 per hour
- Overtime after 48 hours – £22.64 per hour
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
- Drug and alcohol screening applies at this location
Responsibilities
You\’ll deliver fresh, ambient, and frozen products, starting from a well-organised DHL depot in Avonmouth, using clean, well-maintained vehicles. Produce is delivered on cages to convenience stores using tail lifts for ease. Full induction and training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one.
Typical shifts are between 10 – 12 hours, and start times vary between 04.00 and 06.00. Drivers can expect an average of 3 to 9 drops per shift, depending on the route and load.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
