Weekend day shifts for HGV Class 1 Drivers.

ADR Network is a trusted leader in logistics recruitment, with a reputable blue-chip client base, and we are currently looking for HGV Class 1 drivers for Royal Mail to work Saturday and Sunday day shifts.

Pay Rates

  • Monday to Sunday £20.82 – £23.85
  • Monday to Sunday Days depending on start time £20.82 to £21.83
  • Monday to Sunday Nights depending on finish time £21.57 to £23.85
  • All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately

Role

We’re recruiting for Class 1 trunking work—simple, no-touch runs between depots and RDCs, with minimal load interaction. Our dedicated onsite teams across the country are ready to get you started immediately.

Schedule

This is a 7 day operation with shifts available Monday to Sunday but we have an immediate need for HGV Class 1 drivers looking to work weekend day shifts.

Typical shift start times are between 00:01-15:00. Most drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Bookings are allocated every Thursday for the following week, including start and planned finish time, helping to align your personal and professional commitments and aid a better work life balance.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
  • Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
  • No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
