ADR Network works in partnership with XPO Logistics providing ongoing temporary Class 1 HGV drivers and sourcing suitable candidates for temp to perm positions.
Their site in Banbury is a clean modern depot and is welcoming of new pass drivers as they provide full assessment and training before you go out on the road.
This is curtainside Class 1 work where you will be delivering household goods (cleaning products) to cash and carry’s and supermarkets across the UK. It is usually a back-door tip or using side curtains where the product is then unloaded for you. Some strapping and opening/closing of the curtains will be required. A full induction will be given to ensure that you are comfortable before you start.
Pay Rates:
- Days: £16.71 per hour
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Start times are between 04.00 and 07.00 Monday to Friday.There is no weekend requirementand you will be booked assignments a week in advance. Shifts typically last between 10 to 12 hours dependant on the number of drops.
We are looking for long-term/permanent drivers as well as short-term holiday cover.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
