Ready to earn top driving rates? ADR Network, the UK’s largest dedicated HGV driver agency, is looking for Class 1 driver to work as a night shunter/driver on a 4 on 4 off rota (additional days available if desired). This role will be available up until the end of February 2026, then normal driving work on any rota pattern/start times will be available.
Pay Rates
- Days: From £18.91 per hour
- Nights: From £21.62 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £23.58 per hour
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
As well as performing shunting duties, you\'ll be delivering ambient and chilled goods to regional distribution centres and making store deliveries to major outlets. When delivering to stores, there is some interaction at the store delivery point when unloading cages, and support is provided by the store staff for ease. Full induction and training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one.
The start time for this is 6.30pm and the shunting is a 12 hour shift. Driving shifts are usually around 10 to 12 hours. Most drivers complete an average of 10 hours per shift, depending on the route and site requirements.

- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
