Overview
Seeking skilled Class 1 drivers for regular shifts delivering to M&S Food stores. ADR Network is a trusted leader in logistics recruitment, and we are currently looking for Class 1 drivers for Gist in Hemel. If you are searching for ongoing HGV work with good rates of pay, we want to hear from you.
Pay Rates
- Days: From £21.16 per hour
- Nights: From £25.40 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £27.51 per hour
- Overtime after 40hrs p/wk between £23.28 and £31.74
- Rates increase after 6 months to £22.97 to £34.45
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Responsibilities
You’ll transport fresh, ambient, and frozen goods to Marks and Spencer stores, beginning each shift from a well-organised Hemel depot with clean, well-maintained vehicles. Deliveries are made using cages and tail lifts for ease. Drivers can expect an average of 2-3 drops per shift, depending on the route and load.
Shift Details
We are primarily looking for drivers to start between 00.00 – 18.00. Shift lengths are typically 8-12 hours. Full training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and work safely from day one.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 18 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
