Overview
Earn a minimum of £4000 for 10 shifts before Christmas with Gist. Boost your Christmas cash with top rates and guaranteed shifts. If you can commit to working 10 shifts between 11th December and 2nd January 2026, you can earn a minimum of £4000 and be paid by 24th December and 2nd January.
What you’ll do
You will be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to Marks and Spencer stores. These are easy cage and tail-lift deliveries starting from a clean depot with well-maintained vehicles.
Pay Rates (11 December 2026 – 2 January 2026)
- Days: From £28.20 per hour
- Nights: From £32.85 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £45.16 per hour
- Overtime after 40hrs p/wk is between £30.52 – £49.80
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
We are looking for drivers to start between 01:00 – 05:00, and 14:00 – 19:00. Shift lengths are usually between 10-11 hours.
Once you’ve passed your driving assessment, you’ll get full training to hit the ground running safely and confidently.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
