As a trusted nationwide logistics partner to Gist, we have been called upon to provide various levels of driver hours, offering comprehensive support across their depot network. We are immediately seeking reliable, professional drivers to help meet a critical demand.
Pay Rates:
- Days: From £20.07 per hour
- Nights: From £21.88 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £24.89 per hour
- Overtime after 40hrs p/wk is between £21.86 - £25.47
- All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Typical shifts are between 8 – 12 hours, and start times vary between 07:00 and 18:00. Let us help you find the schedule that fits your lifestyle. Bookings are also issued a week in advance.
You’ll transport fresh, ambient, and frozen goods to Marks and Spencer stores, beginning each shift from a well-organised depot with clean, well-maintained vehicles. Deliveries are made using cages and tail lifts for ease. Full training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and work safely from day one.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 18 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
