We’re looking to connect with experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers who are interested in future opportunities in the Barnsley area. If you’re a reliable, professional driver looking to work with a well‑organised operation, we’d love to hear from you.
You will be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to Marks and Spencer stores, these are easy cage and tail-lift deliveries starting from a clean depot with well-maintained vehicles.
Pay Rates
- Days: From £18.30 per hour
- Nights: From £21.95 per hour
- Weekends: Up to £23.79 per hour
- Overtime (after 40 hrs/week): £20.12–£27.44 All rates are PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately.
Shift Information
- Typical start times: 01:00–05:00 and 14:00–19:00
- Usual shift length: 10–11 hours
- Full training provided following a successful driving assessment
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
