Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV driver ready to secure a permanent role with a leading logistics provider? ADR Network is offering an exciting temp-to-perm Shunter opportunity at Gist M&S Cumbernauld, with a clear pathway to a full-time position after just 12 weeks.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday Days: £18.31 per hour
- Monday to Friday Nights: £21.97 per hour
- Weekend Days: £21.97 per hour
- Weekend Nights: £23.80 per hour
- Overtime after 40 Hours: up to £27.46 per hour
All rates are PAYE and holiday pay is accrued separately.

Responsibilities
- Yard & Bay Management: Efficiently move vehicles to loading doors and direct incoming traffic to keep the site flowing.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct thorough yard checks and pre-loading inspections for defects, MOT, and service requirements.
- Equipment Oversight: Prepare clean trailers for loading and manage the VOR process to isolate defective equipment.
- Clear Communication: Act as the vital link between site departments to ensure a seamless operation.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph card
- Minimum 18 months relevant driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
