Job Overview
With the Christmas season closing in we are looking for 7.5T Drivers to work out of Royal Mail in Warrington to help with their Christmas demand. This is an ongoing requirement with work all year round if desired.
You will be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail mail centres, operating from a well-organised depot in Warrington, using clean, well-maintained vehicles. There is some interaction involved for loading and unloading.
This is a 7 day operation so we offer a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle – whether you are looking for occasional days, part-time hours, weekend work, or a full-time schedule, we can tailor shifts to suit your availability.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Saturday – Days: £16.53 to £17.49 per hour, Nights: £17.25 to £19.40 per hour
- Sunday – Days: £23.24 to £24.30 per hour, Nights: £24.06 to £26.21 per hour
All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately. The busiest days are Friday to Monday with an increased rate being paid on a Sunday to boost your earning potential.
Requirements
- Valid 7.5T driving licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months of recent 7.5T driving experience required
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
