Join ADR Network on the Royal Mail contract for ongoing 7.5‑tug driving work in Edinburgh – variety of shift patterns available to suit you. ADR Network is partnering with Royal Mail, the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit 7.5‑tug drivers for their depot in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for 7.5‑tug drivers looking for steady agency work with one of the UK’s most recognised brands.
You’ll be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail mail centres, operating from well‑organised depots in Edinburgh, using clean, well‑maintained vehicles. There is some interaction involved in loading and unloading, but full training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one. This is a 7‑day operation so we offer a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle. Start times are available for days, afternoons and nights, so speak to us about what works for you. Shifts are planned a week in advance to help you achieve a strong work‑life balance.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Saturday
- Days: £16.53 to £17.49
- Nights: £17.25 to £19.40
- Days: £23.34 to £24.30
- Nights: £24.06 to £26.21
Paid weekly every Friday. All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately.
Requirements
- Valid 7.5‑tug driving licence
- Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years of recent 7.5‑tug driving experience required
- No more than 5 penalty points (minor offences only)
- DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
