We’re creating the next generation of ADP and we need your help to do it. In Sales, we’re all about growing the UK business and we know the future of ADP depends on hiring people who can make a difference. Everyday, you will connect with prospects and sell ADP’s products and services to businesses with up to 300 employees. You will sell to one or two decision makers and will be expected to demo our software and manage the entire sales cycle from first contact to final close.
Leads will be passed from marketing, but you are expected to generate further new business leads yourself through networking, cross‑selling, upselling, and cold‑calling.
This is a sophisticated consultative sale that requires an ability to listen to the client and match their needs to our products and services.
The successful candidate will be upbeat, positive, friendly, and most importantly at ease talking on the phone to senior decision makers, qualifying opportunities, and closing business.
The day-to-day:
- Being proactive with new prospects.
- Using various methods (social selling & CRM data) to source new opportunities.
- Identifying people who have HR/Payroll pain points or gaps and engaging them to a live project.
- Staying up-to-date with market trends, and educating prospects on insight, potential threats or opportunities to improve their businesses with enhanced HR / Payroll processes.
- Working to KPIs and targets for activity & meeting booked.
- Working with your Leader & colleagues to define campaigns that strategically direct your outreach activity.
- Demonstrating ADP Solutions.
- Managing the full end-to-end sales cycle with prospects.
- Cleansing & managing your own data set to ensure accurate strategies.
Are you right for the role?
- Based in the UK, within daily commutable distance to our Staines office.
- Ideally some previous experience within a complex sales environment.
- Track record of carrying and achieving a sales quota for at least 12 months.
- A great attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Competitive nature – a need to be the best!
- Enthusiastic and ambitious – has a clear desire to progress within a large organisation.
- Articulate with good business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Experience of using a CRM System (ideally Salesforce) – preferred but not essential.
