Overview of the Managed Services, District Channel Manager role at ADP. The position is responsible for executing a comprehensive strategic plan to drive U.S. Enterprise Payroll product sales through the field sales organization, collaborating with Field Sales and Channel Marketing, and providing sales support through product education, measurement, and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as product liaison to Marketing and Sales.
  • Implementing marketing and opportunity identification programs.
  • Maintaining sales messaging.
  • Coordinating product sales education.
  • Driving industry knowledge within the geographic area of responsibility.
  • Travel required, with approximately 20% travel and overnight stays.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Execute the product sales strategy for field sales.
  • Drive sales in the geographic area of responsibility to meet assigned product sales quotas.
  • Act as the product liaison to Marketing and the sales liaison to Product teams.
  • Ensure implementation and execution of marketing and opportunity identification programs.
  • Assist in creation of sales messaging deployment.
  • Assist with product sales education and coordinate training efforts relative to product sales.
  • Create and deploy industry knowledge within the geographic area of responsibility.
  • Travel to different geographic areas to participate in joint end user calls as the ADP channel sales liaison.
  • Report market information regarding competitors, pricing awareness, sales inhibitors, and field successes.
  • Champion and interface between sales management and other ADP groups (field sales, training, tele sales, operations, marketing, etc.).
  • Drive involvement of channel partners in the sales process with periodic reviews focused on activity standards and referral activity (inbound/outbound lead flow), partner updates and campaigns.
  • Provide progress updates to senior sales leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years experience in a product or channel marketing position or field sales management in a wide geographic area.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. Payroll market.
  • Knowledge of ADP Payroll products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with business services and/or business software; college degree is not required if the candidate has the skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
  • Ability to generate and implement concepts, ideas, and plans in a flexible, changing environment.
  • Strong team player.
  • Experience with sales quotas and B2B in HCM, payroll, HR solutions, HRBPO or talent management.
  • Goal oriented with capacity to reach and exceed quotas.
  • Demonstrated cold calling sales ability and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong communication skills across all mediums.
  • Organized with effective time management; ability to work independently and with a team.
  • General business acumen; mature, self-confident; able to work under pressure; strong work ethic; commitment to building a career path.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Some positions may include bonuses, equity, or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD 78,800.00 – 170,400.00 per year. Actual compensation will comply with applicable wage and salary laws.
