ADP is hiring a Director, Learning Design in BARCELONA, LONDON OR SAO PAULO. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director, COE Design within our Enterprise Learning organization. You will lead a team of global instructional designers who support our international business unit and are responsible for the analysis, design, and development of modern learning experiences for our service & implementation associates who support our clients and for our clients who leverage our products to achieve business success.
Your role is key to creating and driving an innovative learning strategy for our role-based new hire and client training solutions that leverage agile design approaches and continuous improvement through industry research and end-user feedback and analysis. No two days are the same. You will create and execute on strategy, build relationships with your stakeholders, and engage your team through talent planning and development. You will collaborate closely with your global peers and team members to achieve Enterprise Learning's goals. You will support the design and deployment of compelling content that addresses needs across multiple business lines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Leadership: You lead a learning design team and drive their engagement and performance.
- Stakeholder Relationships: You build and cultivate relationships with Enterprise Learning leadership and the broader ADP Learning communities of practice, knowledge management, product development, and other stakeholder groups critical to the success of this position.
- Strategy: You'll devise strategies that engage team members and business partners in the design process to ensure the solution is flexible and addresses the unique needs of the learners.
- Innovation: You seek opportunities to apply innovative design thinking to your projects and will work to keep ADP's approach to designing learning up to date with the products and solutions ADP offers its clients.
- Flexibility and Agility: You can adapt to changing business requirements, projects, and resources and use agile approaches to meet business needs.
- Learning Outcomes: You leverage data to measure outcomes and ensure your learning solutions result in the intended business impact.
- Continuous Learner: You focus on your personal development as well as your team's development. You maintain an outside-in perspective by building networks inside and outside ADP, and you keep up-to-date on learning trends.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
What's most important is demonstrated skills and experience to do the job. You will need 10+ years of experience in learning & development and experience leading teams. Having a global mindset and cultural intelligence is important. You will have knowledge of standard eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, TechSmith SnagIt, Audacity, and Vyond.

- Instructional design certification
- Understanding and application of Adult Learning principles
- Experience using a Learning Management System (i.e., Litmos)
- Deep understanding of diverse cultural, linguistic, and regional learning needs across multiple countries.
- Ability to tailor design strategies to accommodate local nuances while maintaining global consistency.
- Sensitivity to language requirements and cultural contexts to ensure inclusivity and relevance.
