ADP is hiring a Director, Alliances & Channels – UKI. Ready to shape the future of strategic partnerships and accelerate growth across the UK & Ireland? Do you have a proven track record of building high-value alliance and channel ecosystems that drive enterprise sales success? Are you passionate about influencing senior stakeholders, creating go-to-market strategies, and leading through collaboration? Can you inspire teams, strengthen executive partnerships, and deliver measurable commercial results? Well, this may be the role for you.
In this role, you will lead ADP's Alliances & Channels strategy across the UK and Ireland, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, consulting firms, influencers, referral networks, and channel relationships. As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop and execute a regional alliance strategy that increases pipeline generation, accelerates deal velocity, and delivers measurable sales outcomes. You'll oversee a team of Alliance professionals while collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Business Consulting, Product, and Operations to maximise the value of our partner ecosystem.
Daily, you will engage with executive stakeholders both internally and externally, identify new growth opportunities, strengthen existing partner relationships, and align joint go-to-market plans that support ADP's strategic objectives. You'll work closely with sales leaders and account teams to drive partner-influenced and partner-generated opportunities, support key enterprise pursuits, and ensure the UKI alliances strategy delivers scalable and profitable growth. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, commercial acumen, executive presence, and a passion for building trusted partnerships. You'll need resilience, influence, and the ability to drive results through cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
In return, you'll have the opportunity to lead a critical growth function, shape market strategy, develop high‑performing talent, and make a meaningful impact within one of the world's leading Human Capital Management (HCM) and HR technology organizations.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Strategic Growth Through Partnerships: Develop and execute the UKI Alliances & Channels strategy to drive revenue growth, increase market presence, and deliver against ambitious sales and pipeline objectives through strategic partnerships.
- Build and Strengthen Executive Relationships: Establish, develop, and maintain senior‑level relationships within consulting, advisory, technology, and strategic alliance organizations. Create trusted partnerships that generate mutual growth and long‑term value.
- Drive Pipeline and Revenue Performance: Work closely with Sales leadership and account teams to create, influence, and accelerate partner‑generated and partner‑supported opportunities. Ensure alliance activity contributes meaningfully to pipeline growth, sales bookings, and overall business performance.
- Lead and Develop a High‑Performing Team: Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a team of Alliance professionals. Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous development while driving performance against key objectives and metrics.
- Align Cross‑Functional Stakeholders: Partner across Sales, Marketing, Business Consulting, Product, Operations, and other business functions to execute integrated go‑to‑market initiatives, partner programs, enablement strategies, and field activities.
- Champion Partner Enablement and Market Impact: Drive partner education and engagement initiatives that increase awareness, understanding, and advocacy for ADP's cloud‑based HCM solutions. Support industry events, thought leadership, and joint marketing programs.
- Deliver Strategic Insight: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, partner performance, and emerging opportunities. Provide recommendations and actionable insights to senior leadership that support business growth and market differentiation.
- Own Executive Reporting and Business Reviews: Track and communicate progress against key performance indicators including strategic partner engagement, partner‑generated leads, pipeline development, sales influence, revenue contribution, and overall alliance effectiveness.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Strategic Alliances Leadership Experience: Extensive experience leading strategic alliances, channel sales, partner management, business development, or enterprise sales functions within technology, SaaS, HCM, HR technology, business services, consulting, or related industries.
- People Leadership: Proven success leading, developing, and coaching high‑performing teams, including experience managing managers or senior individual contributors within a matrixed organization.
- Revenue and Pipeline Accountability: Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial objectives through alliance‑led growth initiatives, partner ecosystems, and enterprise sales collaboration.
- Executive Influencing Skills: Strong ability to engage, influence, negotiate, and build credibility with C‑suite executives, strategic partners, and internal stakeholders.

- Communication Excellence: Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Leadership: Skilled at driving results across matrix organizations and aligning multiple stakeholders towards common business goals.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, and occasionally internationally, as business needs require.
Required: A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include significant experience developing strategic partnerships, channel ecosystems, or enterprise sales networks within a high‑growth technology or business services organization.
Bonus points for these:
- Experience within Human Capital Management (HCM), Human Resources technology, Payroll, Workforce Management, SaaS, ERP, CRM, or Enterprise Software.
