ADP is hiring an International Contracts Manager. Are you a Contracts Manager with experience drafting and negotiating multiple concurrent, complex commercial agreements and transactions across several countries and regions with strategic business partners and vendors to achieve product/service initiatives, secure long-term relationships, realise financial goals, and minimise risk? Are you highly skilled in partnering with business units to advise and provide consultative support on business, legal, compliance, regulatory, and financial issues across jurisdictions?
As an International Contracts Manager, you will manage a wide variety of complex third-party partner and major vendor relationships across multiple countries and regions in support of ADP's global strategies and product/service objectives. You will negotiate, draft, close, and manage complex cross-border arrangements - ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and business practices to secure the necessary relationships for current and future ADP needs worldwide.
In this role, you will provide consultative support to ADP senior and executive management preserving ADP's business flexibility across jurisdictions, maximising ADP's leverage and benefit in international markets, negotiating strategic partner and vendor transactions, complying with local and international regulatory requirements, reducing ADP's financial and litigation risk on a global scale, and other strategic initiative impacts.
What You'll Do
- Manage strategic business partner and major vendor relationships across regions to ensure ADP achieves its strategic product/service, financial, and operational initiatives.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions and secure complex, unique business partnerships and arrangements across multiple jurisdictions to meet ADP's international operational and commercial needs.
- Proactively manage relationships to ensure mission-critical needs are met in a timely manner while minimising financial impact.
- Maintain ongoing dialogues with internal ADP clients, as well as existing and prospective third-party partners across regions, to capitalise on new opportunities, further ADP interests, and avoid missed opportunities.
- Negotiate, close, and draft various complex agreements and transactions - including multi-jurisdictional and cross-border arrangements - with ADP strategic business partners and major vendors to achieve ADP's product/service initiatives, secure long-term international relationships, realise ADP financial goals, and minimise risk across all applicable legal frameworks.
- Ensure the timely closure of complex, multi-country agreements whose negotiated and drafted terms and conditions are made in the best interest of ADP, supports strategic global business goals and initiatives, preserves future business flexibility and options across regions, minimises financial and regulatory exposure, and complies with local and international partner obligations.
- Conduct direct negotiations and lead internal project and strategy meetings as required, including coordination across time zones and geographies.
- Advise and provide consultative support to ADP senior/executive management on major international business, legal, regulatory, and financial issues of relationships or specific cross-border transactions.
- Provide creative, solution-oriented input to manage business, legal, regulatory, and financial aspects of international relationships and specific transactions while ensuring optimal results with minimal exposure and consequence to ADP across all operating jurisdictions.
- Keep abreast of global market, industry, regulatory, legal, and business trends - including country-specific developments - as well as ADP's international product/service landscape and third-party strategic partner developments which can impact ADP's global business and strategy.
- Proactively respond to trends and developments to capitalise on opportunities and eliminate any adverse business impact across jurisdictions.
- Recommend policy and relationship strategy changes, build new and re-engineer existing business processes and cycles, and manage processes to ensure ADP compliance with negotiated arrangements in all operating countries.
- Oversee a portfolio of contracts spanning multiple countries and regions, ensuring consistency of terms while accommodating local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with in-country legal counsel, compliance teams, and business stakeholders to navigate local contracting practices, data privacy regimes, and trade regulations.
- Identify and mitigate cross-border risks including foreign-exchange exposure, sanctions compliance, export controls, and jurisdictional conflicts.
- Drive harmonisation of contract templates and playbooks to enable efficient and scalable international deal-making.
- Manage projects and build/lead cross-functional, multi-regional internal teams to ensure timely and effective results.
Experience:
You have 8+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role, including 5 years drafting and negotiating multiple concurrent, complex commercial agreements across international jurisdictions.

- Experience advising and consulting with senior leadership and legal team regarding critical relationship and contract issues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts governed by the laws of multiple countries or regions (e.g., EU, APAC, LATAM, North America).
- Working knowledge of international trade regulations, data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR), and cross-border compliance requirements.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively across diverse legal systems and business cultures.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in one or more additional languages is a strong plus.
- You’ll have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent.
