Business Resiliency Planner – Technical Specialist — Hybrid role based in Staines or Bristol, United Kingdom. ADP is hiring a Business Resiliency Planner/Technical Specialist.

What You’ll Do
- Develop expertise with ADP’s business continuity systems, platforms, tools, and services, including configuring custom objects, fields, and page layouts; building workflow and approval processes; building formulas and validation rules; building reports and dashboards; building flows and process builders; configuring user roles, profiles, record sharing, and security settings.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot or address issues with BCP tool/software and dev/test environments.
- Maintain data imports/exports and troubleshoot errors/issues with BCP tools/software.
- Contribute to developing, implementing, and maintaining the business continuity program framework including BIA, BCP, Plan Walkthrough, and Tabletop Exercising.
- Ensure governance of the BC Program through the Business Resiliency Policy and Standards to comply with ADP’s requirements.
- Provide business and technical guidance to Global Business Resiliency partners; drive engagement and accountability for planning and preparedness by Business Resiliency teams involved in operationalizing the program.
- Become a trusted advisor and help raise operational risk and business resiliency awareness across the organization.
- Provide training and access to business continuity program resources.
- Facilitate discussions and planning with the Business to ensure integration of concepts/design for systems, software, applications, and processes critical to services; verify alignment with business expectations.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities but provide informal guidance to new team members.
- Provide 24×7 support for emergencies requiring activation of BC plans; assist recovery teams in implementing response and alternative operating strategies during activations.
To Succeed In This Role
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or Security.
- Conceptual and practical expertise in Business Resiliency and related disciplines.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting in JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Python, or other languages.
- Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) integration for data sharing across systems.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) / machine learning.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills; basic knowledge of relational database design, logic-based programming, enterprise systems analysis and development, and object-oriented programming.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a remote team; strong collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with business leaders; strong project skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion; detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Resilience and sound judgment in stressful or changing environments; willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays based on country hours.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
- Customer support orientation.
