We are recruiting for an Implementation/Functional Consultant! Location: any of our UK offices - Milton Keynes, Staines, Bristol or Cheadle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The WorkForce Software (WFS) Implementation Department is responsible for delivering high-quality, on-time, and scalable implementations of WFS solutions across our global client portfolio.
  • Participate in project planning, kickoff activities, and implementation readiness discussions.
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to establish project goals, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Provide effort estimates, status updates, and risk identification throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document customer business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into solution designs, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Educate customers on workforce management best practices and recommend solution approaches aligned with their objectives.
  • Work with WorkForce Software Technical Consultants to ensure that the solution build meets the requirements of the customer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations, solution demonstrations, and project deliverables.
  • Ensure implementation activities adhere to established methodologies, standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Partner with customers and internal teams to support solution testing, defect resolution, and validation activities.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist with data migration, system deployment, go-live preparation, and production transition activities.
  • Deliver customer training and support adoption of implemented solutions.
  • Manage customer communications and expectations to ensure a successful implementation experience.
  • Maintain required product certifications and continuously expand functional and technical expertise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation practices, customer outcomes, and product capabilities.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

PRODUCT / TECHNICAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-4 Years experience in software implementations.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Understand waterfall and agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices in a services delivery role.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Possesses basic problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable of and understand common implementation principles and lifecycle.
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude to learn quickly and adapts to new circumstances.
  • Ability to work on a dynamic, customer-focused team and establish excellent working relationships.
  • Experience in implementing or training on a packaged software system or highly complex internally developed application.
