We are recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant ideally with some plumbing or heating experience or someone who has worked within construction. We are looking for a friendly and reliable person to cover the front counter and advise on parts and deal with sales transactions.

This role is ideal for someone who has plumbing experience but no longer wants to work "on the tools" and move into a more customer-focused role with some hands-on physical work included. This role involves speaking with customers face to face and over the phone, offering product advice, preparing orders, booking in stock, and supporting the day-to-day running of the branch.

You will also be lifting and moving stock throughout the day, so the role combines customer service responsibilities with hands-on stock handling duties as well as lots of lifting and shifting!

Ideal applicants will have experience in plumbing, heating, building supplies, merchanting, construction, or a customer-facing trade environment. Driver or own transport required due to location.

This is a long-term permanent opportunity offering a £30,000 salary, Monday to Friday working hours, and no weekend work.
