Location: Various commercial and retail sites across Hemel Hempstead, Watford, Uxbridge, St Albans and other areas when required.
Salary: Basic £40k to £45k per annum based on a 40-hour week. £50,000 – £60,000 achievable with overtime. Overtime paid at time and a half / double time.
The Role: You will be responsible for covering reactive call outs on electrical basis for clients based in hospitality and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding and attending reactive repairs within SLAs and KPIs.
- Logging all details of the job on hand-held device applications for further action.
- Working independently performing fault analysis and repair.
- Communication with clients and colleagues providing technical support where required.
- Supporting team and making sure all works are carried out safely and according to regulations.
- Proactive approach to Health and Safety at all times.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications NVQ level 3 or higher.
- 18th Edition is essential.
- Testing & Installing experience.
- Ability to work at height.
- Ideally be IPAF and MEWP trained and qualified, however not essential as training can be provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Willing to work some weekends and overtime as required.
Working hours: 40 hours per week + travel time. Out of hours availability required based on agreed duty engineer rota with a minimum requirement to be on call once per calendar month.
